All of You

1 min readJun 2, 2025

Imagine walking in a field. Maybe you’re walking your dog or just looking at the sky, or maybe you’re walking in a crowded urban area where you must match the rhythm of the crowd so you don’t run into anyone. Maybe you’re walking down a country road or past a row of shops. Now imagine you’re walking with every flawed and fabulous version of who you are, who you used to be, and who you will be in the future.

If time is truly fluid, maybe this is actually true and every you walks with you. Who knows? Maybe all the cousin versions of you in all the other parallel universes, if they do indeed exist, walk with you too. Even when you’re alone, each of these selves carries the blessings and the curses of each moment of each you’s experiences.

It’s complicated, but it’s also simple. There is no one discreet, separate, finished, best version of you. It’s all you.
