ever more questions

this morning I said something
to my HomePod I addressed it
correctly its response was to
ask who was speaking which
combined with the fact that
my mailbox is often empty
these days makes me wonder
if I am a figment of my own or
someone else’s imagination or
if time and space are fluctuating
around me in either new ways
or ways I have only newly come
to notice that we are all temporary
and yet everything in its entirety is
constant even if it is changing but
does it change me and all of us
