holy mother contrary

I’m not religious not trying to be
sacrilegious but can we talk about
Mary I mean really talk about her
not whose mother she was not if
she was a virgin or not who her
son was or others claimed him
to be fair it probably isn’t her fault
no one knows anything about her
except for her supposed relations
with God and the cuckolded man
who led the donkey she rode on
her way to give birth to the idea
that mothers live only for their
children and maybe especially
for their sons and don’t even
think about them having sex or
having needs of any kind of their
own and maybe that’s where
much of what became gospel
started out as lies whispered
to little girls by men without
wisdom searching for power
