now I lay me down

I am planning on trading
my full bed for a twin bed
to hold only me unless
I invite someone to join
in mutual ravaging but
there won’t be room for
comfy sleepovers now
why do they call it a twin
anyway I used to have a
twin but my mother lost
her/him prior to my birth
maybe that is why I like
both together and alone
