The fountain on the green is fixed and back to normal.
The spray now contained within the circumference of the base.
For a while they used a lawn sprinkler on top of the fountain.
Its erratic overly large spray tore a hole in the green’s balance.

I found an Adirondack chair under a tree with a mini version for my feet.
There were no mosquitoes just bees coming to say hello but not stinging.
A light end of summer breeze lifted my hair gently as I read in the chair.
It whispered that autumn with all its color and structure would soon arrive.

Fall always feels like the start of the new year to me not cold dark January.

Two much older ladies wanted to sit in the shade near the fountain.
A man stood up to move two of the heavy chairs under a tree for them.
I yoo-hooed to let them know I was leaving my prime spot chairs.

The co-op had organic peanut butter and my favorite all fruit jam on sale.

It’s been an interesting two days for me recharging after several intensities.
The air made me feel alive. The old women made me feel young.
A peanut butter and jelly sandwich on polenta bread gave me strength.
