I wonder what it was like
back when there weren’t
as many stories when you
had to wait to hear the next
installment the way we did
before bingeing before lies
and truths started to float
like dandelion fluff waiting
to be plucked from the air
and yet there are still stories
never shared locked away
by the fear no one will hear
